The Royal Hotel
The Royal Hotel is a popular choice for weddings here in Hull. Built into the train station and just yards away from the platforms, it's about as central and convenient as you can get. The Royal has several function suites arranged over multiple floors - so you've plenty of choice on where to host your wedding.
RB Summer Ball, 5th of July 2019
RB Healthcare's summer ball was an absolute dream project for us - and the biggest short-notice event we've ever pulled off! After some very rapid planning and preparation we spent two days on site making this event happen.
The theme and title of this ball was 'The Enchanted Forest' and it was our job to create that forest. We went straight to our hunter green sashes as they're deep, rich and instantly put me in mind of woodland. We then set about creating a proper forest with our realistic, room-filling artificial trees. Just like with a real forest we wanted our forest to have a range of plants so we mixed up blossom, wisteria and ficus for extra variety.
Our fabulous foliage arch was fashioned from scratch on site at the hotel, with hours of hard work and absolutely hundreds of stems of flowers and greenery. There were some seriously aching arms after the job was done!
We pulled out all the stops with the little details on this event. We crafted a brand new rustic-look easel and table plan display to match the trunks of our centrepiece trees. After checking the table plan, guests were able to find their tables by reading the bespoke, hand-carved table names we hung in the branches of our trees.

These two lovely ladies chose a bold colour scheme of orange and blue. The choice of our burnt orange and navy blue shades lent subtlety and richness to the colour scheme; and our starlight linens lifted and brightened the room. Our white trees, finished with orange roses, made particularly striking centrepieces.
